If you are travelling by car, from the centre of Sydney, it will take you about 1hr and 15 mins door to door.

Trains are also available from Sydney to Gosford where it would be about a 20-minute drive. Take a taxi, book an Uber or phone a friend.

There is a bus service to Wamberal from Gosford also but plenty of stops on the journey so will take you longer.

There are two bedrooms. One with a Queen-sized bed and the other with a bunk double/single combination. Great for a small family or couples wanting to getaway. Maximum number of guests at Wambi Getaway is 5.

Yes. Wambi Getaway is a fully furnished and fully appointed apartment. We supply fresh linen and bath towels and your beds will be made and ready for your short stay. A laundry is located at the rear of the property and available for your use. Longer term stays can bring their own linen and towels or discuss with us options for supply.

Subject to approval, yes, you can bring your best friend(s) with you. The beach has areas for dog walking, and we have a big backyard so you may not have to kennel your dog or ask a friend a favour for your stay.

No diggers, excessive barkers and a limit of 2 dogs per stay.

There's a lot of choice on the coast. Groceries are available at the local IGA at Erina Heights and if you need more, Erina Fair is only a few short kilometres away.

There are local cafes a walk away as well as restaurants. Our Wambi Getaway guidebook on AirBnB will point you towards some of our favourite attractions and where to find essential services like doctors, vets and pharmacists.

Cancellation and full refund of your accommodation payment is available if you cancel your booking no less than 7 days prior to your confirmed booking arrival date. Between 24 hours and 7 days prior to your confirmed booking date, a 50% cancellation fee applies. Inside 24 hours, no refund is available.

With all travel, we recommend travel insurance.

Yes. The apartment has its own parking spot in front of the left-hand side garage. Free parking is also available on street.

Yes. Wamberal Surf Living Saving Club is only ~300m from the property and provides weekend patrols in the red and yellow flagged swimming area. At other times, local council regularly provide lifeguard services.

Wamberal is a great surfing beach but there are risks as there are with all beaches. We recommend being honest with yourself about your surf swimming capabilities. Swim between the flags.

You will be spoiled for choice. We have restaurants a short walk away in Wamberal or stretch your legs, walk down the beach to Terrigal and try some of our local preferences. Our Wambi Getaway Guidebook has a list of cafes, restaurants and takeaway venues to choose from.

Plenty. We are surrounded by dozens of beautiful coastal beaches, national parks and waterways. Take a ferry to Woy Woy for a fantastic fish experience or walk the trails of Boudi National Park. There are venues for treetop adventures, trampolining, water parks and lots more. Local breweries and distilleries. The list goes on.

A short stay is any duration from 2 nights up to 3 months. Rates vary according to the season and cleaning fees and pet fees apply for short stays.

A long stay is any period over 3 months and would be a negotiated rental with a NSW Rental Agreement that would require a Bond to be deposited with Service NSW.

Long term stays, like short term stays, are all inclusive (except for linen and certain amenities like cleaning products). This means WiFi, power and water are all included in your rental agreement.

Long term stays are required to deposit a bond upon execution of a rental agreement and pay rental accommodation fees 2 weeks in advance during the rental period.

Our Wambi Getaway is the smaller of two units located on the block.

There is a shared driveway and a large, pet-friendly, shared backyard.

The Owners Corporation is responsible for common property like the balconies, windows, mowing lawns etc so if something needs attention just let us know and we will get it sorted out ourselves or with the help of the Owners Corporation.
